Why play at the NADF Golf Classic?

Event proceeds support the NADF Sponsorship Fund, a fund that provides monetary support to Northern Ontario First Nation individuals, groups and organizations for activities and events that promote the First Nation culture and encourages healthy living and social well-being.

4-Person Scramble Format

Ladies hit from the Red Tees
Men hit from the White Tees
Pros hit from the Blue Tees
(Pros are not eligible for the Hole-in-One Contest)

Rules

There will be a shotgun start, and all teams will start at play at 1PM.
All four players in a team hit their own ball from the appropriate tee-off.
The next shot will be played from the best of the four lies, and each team member will play their next shot from the chosen spot.
This procedure is followed on every shot for the remainder of the holes, including putts.
To carry the speed of play, the “Double Bogey” rule applies at this tournament. The highest score on any hole is 2 over par (double bogey).
Once you have reached two over par on any hole, you do not have to play the double bogey. Simply mark your score card accordingly.
All rules of etiquette and fair play should be adhered to.

* All alcoholic beverages must be purchased from the Golf Club. Do not bring your own or you may be asked to leave the premises. *

Why Register for the NADF Golf Classic?

As a non-profit organization, NADF relies on the support from the community to ensure the NADF Sponsorship Fund remains available for our First Nation youth, members, and communities. To date, events such as this have raised over $150,000, and we know we could not have done it without the support of our guests and event sponsors.

We are excited to announce that a portion of the proceeds will also support the NADF Student Bursary launching in Fall 2024. This bursary will assist Indigenous students on their academic journey, helping them achieve their educational goals and build a brighter future for themselves and their communities.

Through the NADF Sponsorship Fund, your participation will have a positive impact on the well-being of Northern Ontario First Nations by supporting events such as youth activities, community feasts, pow-wows and cultural learning.
